How it works

Your tour, in every passenger's language

TourChorus is two parts: a web dashboard where your team builds tours, and the TourChorus app your passengers use to listen. Here's how they fit together.

  1. Step 1: Map your route

Drop stops on a map, set each trigger radius and direction, and run a route dry run that flags pins a bus would miss.

  2. Step 2: Write, translate, voice

Write each stop's script or let AI draft it from your notes. Translate into every language you offer and generate natural voiceover, or upload your own recordings.

  3. Step 3: Brand it and print QR codes

Add your logo, colours and font, preview the app live, then download branded QR codes for seat backs, tickets and signs.

  4. Step 4: Passengers scan and listen

Riders download the free TourChorus app and scan your code. The app becomes your branded tour, and commentary plays automatically at each stop in their language.

1. Map your route

Start from a blank map or your existing stop list. Each stop has a trigger radius and an optional direction cone, so commentary for the left side of the street doesn't play on the way back.

  • Drag to reorder stops; mark bus stops with departure times
  • GPS mode for live tours, or queue mode for ordered playback without GPS
  • Route validation simulates a drive along real roads and reports stops a bus would miss

2. Write, translate and voice

Write each script yourself, generate a draft from your notes, or transcribe a recording of your best guide. Then translate into every language you offer and produce voiceover per language. Nothing is published until you approve it.

  • AI script drafting and polishing
  • AI translation with per-language completeness at a glance
  • Natural voiceover generated with ElevenLabs, or upload your own audio

3. Make it yours

Upload your logo, choose your brand colour and font, and watch the rider app update in a live phone preview. Add pages for schedules, FAQs and a booking button that links to your ticketing.

  • Accessible colour palette generated from your brand colour
  • Home, Tour, Schedule and Info tabs you can rename or hide
  • Branded QR codes ready to print for seat backs, tickets and signs

4. Passengers scan and listen

Passengers install the free TourChorus app and scan your QR code. The app switches to your brand, they choose a language, and commentary plays automatically at each stop, even with the screen locked.

  • Background GPS and audio for multi-hour trips
  • Upcoming stops downloaded ahead; full-tour download for patchy coverage
  • Optional surveys at the start or end of the tour

Test it on the bus before you go live

Your tour starts in Preview: only your staff and test devices can play it. Ride the route, fix what you hear, then go live when you're happy.

Features

Everything included

  • GPS-triggered commentary

Each stop plays when the bus arrives, using geofences with direction cones so the right story plays on the right side of the street.

  • Every passenger, their language

Offer as many languages as you need. Riders pick theirs once; every stop follows.

  • AI script writing

Draft scripts from your notes or a place name, transcribe an existing recording, or polish what you have. You review before anything is published.

  • Natural AI voiceover

Studio-quality voices in each language, generated with ElevenLabs. Prefer your own guide's voice? Upload recordings instead.

  • Your brand, not ours

Scanning your QR code turns the app into your company's app: logo, colours, font, tabs and content.

  • Branded QR codes

Download print-ready QR codes that open your tour directly in the app.

  • Rider surveys

Ask passengers about their trip at the start or end of the tour, in their language, and export the results.

  • Analytics

See riders, languages and stops played by route, plus a monthly report you can forward to the team.

  • Announcements and push

Send delay notices, offers or reminders to riders, and show an in-app announcement.

  • Route validation

A simulated drive along the road network checks every stop will trigger before your first passenger boards.

  • Built for long trips

Background GPS and audio keep the tour playing with the screen locked, for hours.

  • Schedules and booking

Publish departure times per stop and add a booking button that links to your existing ticketing.

Give every passenger a tour in their language.

Build your first route, hear it in a dozen languages, and test it on the bus before you pay a cent.
